Description

The Crown Steam SX-10G3 is a 10-pan convection steamer powered by natural gas, designed for high-efficiency output. The unit features stainless steel cooking chambers with coved corners for rapid cleaning, while the 304 stainless steel exterior provides resilience against the physical demands of a busy kitchen. This dual-compartment architecture allows for flexible meal production, utilizing 2 independent gas-fired steam generators that produce a combined 94,000 BTU / HR for fast recovery times.

Operational precision is managed through solid-state generator controls and independent 60 min. electromechanical timers that provide an audible signal when a cycle is complete. To maintain peak operational performance, an automatic generator blowdown feature that flushes the system to reduce mineral accumulation. Doors are built with a positive lock-and-seal mechanism and a stainless steel liner to ensure steam remains trapped, which optimizes heat transfer and reduces energy consumption.

Safety and longevity are integrated into the design via an automatic steam cutoff that triggers when a door is opened. The unit is mounted on cabinet base that offers storage and rests on 6″ adjustable stainless steel legs with flanged feet. With high-output burners and split water connections for simple hookup to treated water systems, this machine is engineered to be a permanent asset in any high-output facility.

• Restaurant Size Recommendation: For large-scale institutional kitchens or high-volume restaurants serving over 250 patrons daily.
• Maintenance Advice: Wipe down the stainless steel chambers daily and perform regular de-liming through the rear port to prevent scale buildup on the generator.
• Manufacturer’s Warranty: 1 year parts and labor warranty, contingent upon the installation and proper maintenance of a verified water treatment system
